Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has slashed the asking price for his NYC apartment amid his financial and legal problems, and pictures show an upscale residence fit for the man once known as America's Mayor.

Realtor.com reports that the 79-year-old former politician and current conservative podcaster has reduced the price to $5.7 million on his luxurious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment, which is located near Central Park and midtown Manhattan in New York City in a historic building designed by renowned architects Harde & Short in 1906.

Giuliani's apartment is on the 10th floor of the luxury building, which features top-notch amenities including:

  • a 24-hour doorman
  • 24-hour porters
  • A resident manager

Giuliani's building was classified as a New York City landmark in 1977, and it's notable for its terra cotta and brick facade. A semi-private elevator leads to the entrance gallery to his apartment, which steps into an oversized living room with three large, west-facing windows.

There's also a wood-paneled library with a fireplace, a formal dining room with a conservatory, an eat-in kitchen with a butler's pantry, a laundry room and a staff room with its own en suite bathroom.

The lavish apartment boasts high ceilings, hardwood floors and spectacular natural light throughout.

Giuliani first listed the stunning residence for $6.5 million in 2023 amid a long list of financial and legal woes that include bankruptcy, multiple indictments and more.

Giuliani faces a $148 million defamation judgement in Georgia after falsely accusing election workers of helping "rig" the 2020 election against Donald Trump, a conspiracy theory that's been disproven again and again. He also faces 13 felony counts in Georgia over his alleged role in trying to forcibly change the valid election results there.

Voting machine companies Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic are also suing Giuliani for spreading baseless allegations that their machines helped alter the 2020 election results.

Most recently, Giuliani was indicted in Arizona in April for his alleged role in trying to alter the results of the 2020 election using "fake electors." He was served the papers on his indictment on Friday (May 17) during an early 80th birthday party.

Giuliani has pleaded not guilty to all of the various charged against him, and he continues to claim that he is being persecuted for his support of former President Donald Trump.

Sotheby's International Realty holds the listing on Giuliani's Manhattan property.
