Sam Hunt Announces 2024 Locked Up Tour With Russell Dickerson

Sam Hunt will spend his summer headlining amphitheaters and similar venues on his newly announced Locked Up Tour.

The 20-city trek is named after his upcoming EP, which will arrive on Friday, April 5.

Beginning in Bend, Ore. on June 28, the tour will crisscross the nation before closing out with several shows in Canada. The final show is scheduled for Sept. 28 in London, Ontario.

Russel Dickerson and George Birge will open the U.S. dates, while and Dalton Dover will be Hunt's direct support in Canada.

When Will Sam Hunt Release New Music?

Hunt is set to release his new Locked Up EP on Friday, April 5. The short project features just four songs: "Locked Up", "Country House," "Last Hurrah" and his most-recent radio single, "Outskirts."

The country singer released a Johnny Cash-inspired music video for "Locked Up." The song itself is a tribute to his wife Hannah and autobiographical in nature. He co-wrote the track alongside Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, Jerry Flowers and Zach Crowell — the lyrics are a testimony of Hunt's hard-to-love ways and Hannah's unwavering patience with him. Hunt was arrested in 2019 for a DUI.
