Hump Day? More like Hunt Day! A beardless Sam Hunt threw quite the street party in downtown Nashville on Wednesday night (Oct. 28). The event — presented by Bose — was a celebration of the one-year anniversary of his debut album Montevallo, which came out on Oct. 27, 2014.

"Our lives have changed a whole lot since then," Hunt shares. "We're also celebrating sort of a homecoming. We've been on the road for a year. I haven't been in Nashville in forever. It feels good to be home."

The CMA New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year nominee kicked off the night with an energetic performance of "Raised on It," followed by "Ex to See" and his first number one hit as an artist, "Leave the Night On."

"The rain's gone, and we're gonna have a party!" Hunt shouted to the crowd. It was the perfect fall evening to be outside, and 5th Avenue was jam packed. The free show was supposed to be the night before, but was rescheduled due to weather.

Hunt shared that "Single for the Summer" is one of his favorite songs on the record: "It's a song I wrote about running around town in Nashville. It's hard not to be single when you live in Nashville." The country newcomer also sang popular tunes he penned, including "Cop Car," recorded by Keith UrbanKenny Chesney's "Come Over" and Billy Currington's "We Are Tonight."

The crowd went nuts when Hunt and his bandmates sang a medley of Reba's "Fancy," Trisha Yearwood's "She's in Love With the Boy," Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby," Destiny Child's "Say My Name," Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." Whew! Yeah. Everyone certainly enjoyed that.

When Hunt sang the fan-favorite "Take Your Time," he jumped into the audience, and the screams could be heard around the world. "House Party" soon followed, as well as a special guest performance by Cam, who belted out her single "Burning House."  The two met last year at SXSW in Austin, Texas, and Hunt says he became a big fan of her music instantly.

"She is a sweetheart of a girl. When she walks into a room, she just brings joy and happiness into the room. You can't help but smile," he gushed.

Hunt ended the night with his current single "Break Up in a Small Town."
