Scotty McCreery Soaks In His ‘American Idol’ Win Backstage

By now, you've probably heard that Scotty McCreery won Season 10 of 'American Idol,' battling the final battle against his good friend Lauren Alaina. We wonder if it's had a chance to sink in for him yet? The 17-year-old Carolinian looked dazed as he spoke with reporters in the 'AI' press room following the show, and graciously took photo after photo.

As for Miss Alaina, she's not terribly crushed. The runner-up remarked last night that because McCreery is her best friend, she can't imagine being upset at his winning the crown. Talk about humble! McCreery promised, too, that the pair will "stay together," meaning this won't be the last we see of Alaina, either. Congratulations to Scotty McCreery on becoming 2011's 'American Idol!'
