Shelbie Z channeled her inner Carrie Underwood at her recent American Idol audition when she took centerstage and perfectly belted out a rendition of Underwood's "Last Name" that left the judges with their jaws gaping.

"I don't like you," Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. stated following her performance. "I love you."

The Southern Belle hairdresser filled her audition with a little bit of soul, a whole lot of talent and just a sprinkle of sass that will leave you remembering her name. If you're driving yourself crazy trying to figure out where you've seen Shelbie before, don't think too much harder. She was a member of Team Blake on Season 5 of The Voice, during which she knocked out Briana Cuoco — sister of actress Kaley Cuoco — once again, with "Last Name."

On the farewell season of American Idol, Shelbie earned her golden ticket to Hollywood where we absolutely can not wait to see her perfectly nail another performance.

“You seem like you have a little fight in you and you’re going to know what to do, you’re going to adapt, you know what I mean?" Judge Jennifer Lopez said of the aspiring star.

To which fellow judge and country super star Keith Urban jumped in to add: “She’s from Alabama, of course, she’s got fight in her."

Stay tuned with Taste of Country for updates all throughout the American Idol Farewell Season on all the contestants, including Miss Shelbie Z.

"I thought my heart was gonna jump out of my chest and y'all were going to have to send an ambulance in there to take me to the ER to get that fixed," Shelbie exclaimed as a video of her triumphantly running out of the audition room waving her golden ticket. "I don't know, I just feel like great things are about to happen."
