Debbie Taunts Hungover Charlotte in New Episode of ‘Still the King’ [Exclusive Premiere]
Still the King is back on CMT on Tuesday nights, and it's just as hilarious as ever! Catch a preview of an all-new episode before it airs in this Taste of Country exclusive.
In this clip from this week's episode of Still the King, Debbie (Joey Lauren Adams) is trying to get her teenage daughter Charlotte (Madison Iseman) to admit that she is hungover. Debbie takes her daughter on a wild car ride hoping to make her queasy, then takes her to the bar where she works and asks her to sort through the dirty bar rags and sniff them to see which ones are rancid in a further attempt to make her sick.
The scene gets even funnier when Vernon (Billy Ray Cyrus) walks in and hints that it might get awkward in a minute, evidently trying to make Debbie jealous ... followed by the slow motion reveal of a super-hot former child former child star he's dating, which prompts a collective spit take from everyone at the bar.
Country Stars Who Have Acted
Still the King stars Cyrus as Vernon Brownmule, a washed-up one-hit wonder country singer who became an Elvis impersonator. He winds up reconnecting with a former one-night stand named Debbie after a series of misadventures and finds he has a teenage daughter, Charlotte, that he never knew about, and along the way, he cons the folks in the small town they live in that's he's their new minister. The show is currently airing its second season on CMT, where it's become one of the anchor programs for the network along with I Love Kellie Pickler and Nashville.
Still the King's second season airs in all-new episodes on Tuesday nights at 10:30PM ET.
