Taylor Swift won almost every award she was nominated for Sunday night at the Teen Choice Awards. The country singer took home surfboards for five of her six nominations, and was honored with the Ultimate Choice award, a distinction only given when someone is truly deserving.

"You guys have made my life so beautiful and it's all because of you," Swift said, beaming in a white, flowing dress. "When I was a teenager I felt like we were always being stereotyped as being very intense and dramatic … in retrospect, I think all those things are amazing things."

"I hope you never lose those things," she told the crowd. The 21-year-old admitted to attending her first Teen Choice Awards. Hopefully she left room in her suit case for five more surfboards. Swift's wins include Choice Music: Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Country Single for 'Mean,' Choice Break Up Song for 'Back to December' and Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon. All five were announced as actress Emma Stone presented her with the night's big honor, the Ultimate Choice award.

The award, announced last month, is “in recognition of [Swift's] extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry.” Past winners of the award include Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon and Mike Myers. There was no 2010 Ultimate Choice honoree.
