For many, the fall months mean weekends filled with football games, fleece jackets, apple picking, pumpkin carving or watching the leaves turn. For Taylor Swift, the cooler weather means the enticing aroma of freshly baked goods.

“Fall is when you start baking cinnamon type things and like pumpkin type things. So there's gonna be like pumpkin bread that I'm gonna make a lot of and give it to people,” says Swift (quote courtesy of Big Machine Records).

As the 'Begin Again' hitmaker gears up to release her fourth album, 'Red,' on Oct. 22, she turns to the kitchen to alleviate any stress. “There's something really calming and soothing to me about having everything measured out and stirring it and pre-heating the oven and getting it all working out," 22-year-old Swift reveals. "Yeah, I really like baking and I really like cooking.”

Swift doesn't mind divulging her culinary adventures with her fans, either. Last year, the singer shared a photo via Twitter of herself baking in her kitchen. Earlier this year, Swift's gal pal Selena Gomez shared photos from a girls' night in, where Swift, Gomez and some friends gathered to bake cupcakes.

Of course, when Swift is not planning for the launch of 'Red' or whipping up sweet concoctions, the singer admittedly might be making coffee runs a little more often than usual. She spills, “Starbucks gets the Pumpkin Spice lattes which I'm excited about."
