Taylor Swift is used to rocking the stage and the red carpet with her signature red lips and eyes perfectly lined in black, and now she's making her CoverGirl commercial debut as the cosmetics brand's new face.

The commercial introduces the country star as "the next generation of beautiful" as she vogues around the set, showing off a flawless face of makeup, her bouncy long curls and a glamorous gold strapless gown.

"What's next? You, in makeup that won't weigh you down," Swift says in the commercial, advertising CoverGirl's NatureLuxe and Lip Perfection product collections.

After being named one of Forbes' highest Hollywood earners of 2010 and  winning the Favorite Country Artist award at the People's Choice Awards on Jan. 5, Swift attended a CoverGirl party, where she was joined by previous CoverGirl correspondents Ellen DeGeneres, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore and Jessica Alba.

"I remember when I was a little kid and I was flipping through Seventeen magazine or something, and I saw Faith Hill as a CoverGirl," Swift tells StyleList in a recent interview. "I thought that was the coolest thing in the world."

Swift is still riding high on the success of 2010's 'Speak Now,' which closed out the year remaining at No. 1 on the charts, and her world tour kicks off in just a few weeks.
