Taylor Swift and her band took some time off from their Speak Now World Tour this weekend to check out an old castle in Dublin, Ireland, but little did anyone know that Swift's guitar player and backing vocalist, Paul Sidoti, had something even more special in mind. In front of his friends and fellow band members, Sidoti popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Ashley White.

White said yes, and someone in the group snapped a photo of the soon-to-be bride and groom, pictured here, right as he asked for her hand in marriage! Following the proposal, multiple Twitter updates were sent from Swift and her friends -- someone even shot the 'Love Story' singer texting the happy news to her Twitter family.

Sidoti took to his Twitter as well, writing, "In a castle in Dublin, Ireland I got engaged to my love, Ashley White ... Life is sweet and beautiful. Dublin, great night w/ all your sweet congrats signs and @taylorswift13 announcing my engagement to @ashleywhite25. Magical. Thank you to all the well-wishers on my engagement. We are thrilled beyond words."

Before he was a member of Taylor Swift’s band, Sidoti played with country star Bryan White and legendary band the Raspberries. Sidoti joined Swift's group in late 2007. "Everyone loves Paul," Swift says. "He is the most loyal person out there." Of his famous boss, the guitar player raves, "I believe she's an artist who's going to be around for a really long time. She's young, yet she's way mature beyond her years, and she's so multi-talented."

Swift and her band will continue their Speak Now World Tour, which is currently taking England by storm.
