Fans at a recent Taylor Swift show got a little more than promised, as the 21-year-old singer's dress was blown up to her ears by a wind machine near the front of the stage. Swift, who was well-covered beneath her stage costume, gracefully straightened her outfit without missing a lyric. In the video below, fans in the front few rows can be seen covering their mouths in shock.

On Tuesday, Swift joined 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest' and explained the mishap. "We have wind machines for a few songs in the show and they weren't supposed to be on during that song ['You Belong with Me']," she said. "I walked over there thinking it wasn't on and it just kind of blew it up a little bit. I was sort of like, 'Well, that's new' and just continued the show."

Seacrest complimented Swift on how skillfully she downplayed the incident. "Yeah, I tried," she answered back sheepishly. It's obvious the incident caused her some embarrassment, but the 'Sparks Fly' singer has never been one to run from the painful moments in her life. Perhaps there will be a song about it on her next album.

On Thursday night, Swift played the second of four sold out shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. At one of those shows, she was joined onstage by teen pop star Justin Bieber for a duet of his hit song 'Baby.' She'll wrap up these dates on Sunday, before heading to San Jose, Calif. for two nights.
