Popular Nashville songwriter Tim Johnson died in October 2012 after a long battle with cancer. His credits include 'I Let Her Lie' for Daryle Singletary, and more recently 'Do You Believe Me Now' for Jimmy Wayne. Over 100 of Johnson's songs were cut on major label records. In addition to being a cherished father and husband, Johnson was a friend to many in the songwriting community. Well-known stars like Joey and Rory's Rory Feek and Blaine Larsen took time to lament his passing.
