Tim McGraw Actually Looking Forward to 50

Tim McGraw ages like a fine wine, so it's no surprise that singer admits that he's actually "looking forward" to hitting 50 in a few years.

The 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's' hitmaker just turned 47 this year, but he's looking forward to the future and welcoming his fifties with open arms. Who can blame him? McGraw has definitely still got it going on -- his career just keeps getting better and he's got a house full of his favorite girls at home. Most people don't look forward to turning the big 5-0, but McGraw says that's not the case for him.

"No, I think I’ll look forward to it," he says of the big birthday, which he'll hit in 2017.

Currently, McGraw is out on the Sun Down Heaven Town Tour that continues through next year and hits a good portion of the U.S. He also just scored his 54th Top 10 hit of his career with 'Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.'

"I hear that it’s like the best time of your life, so I’m getting prepared for my 50s is what I’m actually doing," McGraw says.

The singer recently made headlines -- and one little girl's day -- when he brought her on stage and sang 'You Are So Beautiful' to her before presenting her with his very own guitar.
