Strong sales shot one song like a cannonball to the top of June's Top 40 Country Songs list. However, it's difficult to deny any of the first three on this monthly list. Spring and summer 2016 will be good for country music. If this list had an odor, it'd be Coppertone Factor 30.

Thomas Rhett's "T-Shirt" and Jake Owen's "American Country Love Song" are two songs heard best with warm air blowing through an open car window. Jon Pardi's "Head Over Boots" is another strong road tripping song, as is "My Church," the debut single from Maren Morris.

However, two big ballads take the top two spots in June 2016. Tim McGraw's "Humble and Kind" was No. 1 in May. Scroll down to see if he made it two months in a row.

The list of Top 40 Country Songs of June 2016 is compiled from Billboard chart data and sales figures, in addition to staff opinion and reader feedback.
