‘Tulsa King’ Taps Jelly Roll for Season 2
Fans of Tulsa King have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of season two since the first season came to a close in 2023. The wait is almost over as a trailer for the new season just dropped online with a premiere date set for Sunday, Sept. 15 on Paramount+.
Country fans will recognize a familiar voice in the show's official trailer — Jelly Roll!
The country singer's song "Get By" has been tapped to help promote the new season. It's a fitting track given the lyrics.
"I light every bridge I see just to watch it burn / If you’d seen all the hell I’ve seen it’d make your stomach turn," Jelly Roll sings in between clips from the upcoming episodes.
"I might drink a little / I might smoke a lot," he belts out from the song's chorus. "Show up Sunday morning / Looking just like last night / Yeah that’s how I get by."

While a song about outrunning your history and doing what you gotta do to survive is a no-brainer for the Taylor Sheridan-created series, it wasn't made just for the show. In fact, ESPN got to the track before Sheridan did.
Jelly Roll's "Get By" was selected to promote a different impeding season — college football season. That's right, the track is being used by the sports network as a theme song for the upcoming campaign that begins Saturday, Aug. 24.
The track about showing Sunday morning looking like last night is ideal for college football since a majority of the games are played on Saturday.
