The Showdown: Luke Bryan vs. A Thousand Horses
Luke Bryan seems like he might be well on his way to the Showdown Hall of Fame with his new single, but he'll face a tough challenge today and over the weekend from one of country's hottest up-and-coming acts.
"Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" has a strong classic Alabama vibe, and fans have been voting for it overwhelmingly, most recently giving Bryan a big win over Randy Houser.
A Thousand Horses have just released a new single, "Southernality," that's the third single from the album of the same name, and the down-and-dirty country-rocker hints much more strongly at their energetic live shows than anything they've previously had at radio. They scored one of the breakout hits of 2015 with "Smoke" -- will their fans turn out to vote them past Bryan?
Listen to clips of both Bryan and ATH’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Monday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Monday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
