Vince Gill once again proved to America why he is considered one of the very best in the country music industry on Wednesday night (Nov. 16) when he was the musical guest on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.'

Looking better than ever, Gill treated the viewers to a flawless performance of 'The Old Lucky Diamond Motel,' one of the tracks on his newly released 'Guitar Slinger' album. The album marks the first new collection of tunes from the singer in five years. Gill's vocals were sweet and smooth on the Spanish-infused song, with plenty of stellar musicianship from his band backing him, on the late night talk show.

'The Old Lucky Diamond Motel' is one of the 12 'Guitar Slinger' tracks that Gill penned. The critically acclaimed album hit stores in October, just in time for the holidays.

As far as his own holiday plans, Gill and his wife, Amy Grant, will kick off their new Christmas tour on Dec. 7 in Baltimore, Md. at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric. The tour will continue on through Dec. 21 when it wraps in Nashville at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Click here for a complete list of dates where the tour will be stopping.
