The Vince Gill/Amy Grant marriage showed no signs of strain after Gill's earlier indiscretion with Miss Piggy at the 'CMA Country Christmas' special on ABC. The two turned in one of the more intimate performances of the evening, singing Grant's 'Breath of Heaven.'

Grant looked elegant in a deep silver evening gown. Gill mostly stood to the side until he was called upon to support his wife on this song from her 1992 'Home for Christmas' album. The special has relied heavily on the king and queen of country Christmas music. The two have made touring together an annual tradition around the holidays.

The second annual 'CMA Country Christmas' special was taped in Nashville, just days after the 2011 CMA Awards. Host Jennifer Nettles gave Carrie Underwood a run for most costume changes in a multi-hour telecast. To her credit, however, Underwood's hosting gig was live, while Nettles had the benefit of tape delay to make sure she looked her best.
