Wade Bowen, Hayes Carll to Play in Reckless Kelly’s Third Annual Celebrity Softball Jam

Reckless Kelly step up to the plate to host their Celebrity Softball Jam for the third year in a row -- and this year, Wade Bowen and Hayes Carll will suit up to join the team.

The third annual Celebrity Softball Jam will promote the Reckless Recycling Program, which helps people donate their gently used baseball equipment to area youth baseball teams. Proceeds with also benefit sporty young Texans in need, and with Dale Watson, 'American Idol' runner-up Bo Bice, and Charlie Robison on the all-star lineup, it's sure to be a good turnout.

In addition to the softball game, the artists will perform a five hour, two-stage concert which will take place in centerfield at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas.

Other celebrity attendees include Micky & the Motorcars, Dale Watson, Heidi Newfield, George Devore, Mary Cuttrafellow, Django Walker, and Bruce Robison.

Reckless Kelly's Third Annual Celebrity Softball Jam is scheduled for Sunday, May 1 -- rain or shine. Tickets are available at www.rkcsj.org and kids under 12 are free of charge. Play ball!
