New details have begin emerging regarding a much talked-about Garth Brooks box set.

‘Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influences’ will be released Thanksgiving Day 2013, Nov. 28 -- just in time for Black Friday events. Although it was initially reported to street on Nov. 19, the date has since been changed. Plus, it gives country music fans an even bigger reason to start the frenzied holiday shopping a little bit earlier.

The singer's website reveals more details of the massive project. The eight-disc set will include the previously-announced four discs of cover songs, each with a separate theme: country classics, classic rock, blue-eyed soul and melting pot. Plus, the set features an over two-hour DVD of Brooks' Las Vegas performance, 'Blame It All on My Roots Live at the Wynn,' a re-release of his 2-CD set ‘The Ultimate Hits’ and an accompanying DVD of his music videos.

The DVD of the country star's Wynn performance is especially exciting, because so many fans haven't been lucky enough to see the performance in person. "When Mr. Wynn and I started," explains Brooks, "we agreed that there would come a time when we would bring this show to the people who couldn't see it in person."

In all, the set encompasses 77 songs, 33 music videos, the live Vegas performance and a 68-page photo book. It will retail for a Black Friday price of $24.96 at Walmart, Sam’s Club stores and Walmart.com beginning Thanksgiving Day.

The following day, Brooks will play a final show at the Wynn, which will be televised live on CBS.
