Just months after releasing an album of duets, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard will hit the road together. The Django and Jimmie Tour is set to begin in October in Florence, S.C. So far eight dates have been announced, centered in the Midwest and East Coast.

The Django and Jimmie album dropped in June and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It's their sixth album of duets, cementing a partnership that began with the historic Pancho & Lefty album. In addition to commercial success, the latest collaboration was met with critical acclaim.

Finer details that spell out how the Django and Jimmie Tour will work have not been revealed. It's likely they'll play several songs together from the album, but also include personal hits from their respective catalogs. Both men have full tour schedules prior to the start of their fall run together. Nelson returns to the stage on Sept. 18 in Indiana, while Haggard begins a string of dates on Sept. 3 in Colorado.
