
2011 CMA Awards Nominees Announced
Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Taylor Swift are amongst the country stars receiving multiple 2011 CMA Awards nominations. During Tuesday morning's 'Good Morning America' on ABC, Jake Owen and the Band Perry announced the 2011 nominees for five of the 12 categories that will be decided during the November 9 telecast. The remaining categories were announced later Tuesday morning from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Shelton and Aldean join Brad Paisley and Keith Urban as nominees for both Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Swift was nominated for Entertainer of the Year as well as Female Vocalist of the Year, and the Band Perry were nominated for New Artist of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year. The 2011 CMA Awards will be hosted by Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the third straight year.
