Facebook fans of the Country Music Association got an exclusive treat this morning when the first round of artists slated to play the 2011 CMA Music Festival were announced on their fan page. Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are just the first group of names that will take the stage in Nashville this June.

The lineup is shockingly packed already, and what's even more surprising is that country music's biggest names donate their time to the music fest -- meaning they aren't playing for pocket money! Proceeds from the 2011 CMA Music Festival will benefit much-needed school music programs. To date, CMA's contributions have meant the addition of numerous music labs in schools and placed more than 4,000 instruments in the hands of eager kids.

The 2011 CMA Music Festival will kick off in Nashville June 9 and run until June 12. Tickets for what looks like a strong contender for country music's event of the year are available here. You can get even more information about the festival here.
