2013 CMA Awards Best Dressed Pictures
There were a few risks, but most of the best dressed country stars at the 2013 CMA Awards leaned traditional on Wednesday night (Nov. 6). Despite the cold and damp forecast, leading ladies opted for sleeveless gowns, while the men went with dark suits and thin neckties (Although, you will find one bow tie on this list). Take a look before checking out the worst dressed from country music's biggest night.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert clearly wore their good luck outfits, as both won their respective major awards. Lambert's sleeveless dress showed off her new, slimmer figure without screaming, "Look at me!" Shelton looked fine in a dark jacket and blue jeans. Country's new power couple was amazing on Wednesday night.
Hunter Hayes scrapped his usual sneakers for a pair of dress shoes this time, and it paid off. The 'Wanted' singer embraced his clean-shaven, polished good looks at the 2013 CMAs. Flannel or a straw hat would fit this man like a feather boa.
Kellie Pickler wasn't afraid to show some skin at the 2013 CMAs. She's just a sudden jerk away from spilling over the top of that angular, strapless gown, but she totally owns it. The 'Little Bit Gypsy' singer twirled for the photographers on the red carpet, and why wouldn't she?
The Band Perry managed to express their individual style while appearing as a cohesive unit, even though Reid Perry's hair continues to live a life of its own. The rocker 'do is a sharp contrast to the proper bow tie Neil is sporting. As always, the beautiful Kimberly Perry held the trio together with an off-white gown that's as classy as a Kennedy.
Taylor Swift's long red train melted into the red carpet at the 2013 CMA Awards, but added elegance to her otherwise subdued look on country music's biggest night. There is a Christmas feel to this gorgeous gown, but it is after Halloween. The time is right to start dreaming of the holidays.
