Alan Jackson vs. Carrie Underwood – ToC Fan Football League, Round 2

Just eight artists remain in the month-long battle to decide country music’s best fanbase. Round 2 of the 2014 Taste of Country Fan Football League has begun. The final pairing pits two legends against one another.

Alan Jackson is undeniably one of the top male country vocalists of all time. His Gentlemen topped Tim McGraw's fans last week, setting up a showdown against Carrie Underwood. She bested Dierks Bentley to get to Round 2.

Fans of 16 of the biggest artists in country music were chosen based on how loud each group cheers for their team. Included are some of the most famous stars, but also newcomers that just will not be denied, despite having had less time to build a loyal following.

Round 2 will end at 11:59PM ET on September 22. The 16 artists were split into two divisions. On Tuesday, the Country Division semi-finalists were revealed. The winner of this matchup will face either Scotty McCreery or Blake Shelton's fans.
