The best albums of 2015 represent an astonishingly diverse group of artists and interests. You can't get much funkier than Thomas Rhett. You won't find an album more traditional that Chris Stapleton's Traveller. Fans decide which is best in the 2015 Taste of Country Fan Choice Awards.

Three of the eight nominees delivered new albums after school started, but early releases from females like Kelsea Ballerini and Ashley Monroe also make the ballot. Commercial success is considered — how can Luke Bryan's Kill the Lights be ignored? — but artistry was a factor that carried even more weight for inclusion. Kip Moore's Wild Ones is a great front-to-back album, even if it doesn't have a big hit song yet.

George Strait's Cold Beer Conversation album is the surprise nominee, only because no one knew the album was coming until one week before its arrival. Consider all options and then vote for your favorite up to once every hour until the polls close on Nov. 30 at 11:59PM ET.

Last year's winner in this category was Brantley Gilbert's Just As I Am album.
