Beyonce’s Baby Born: Jo Dee Messina Offers Congratulations + Advice

Music moguls Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, on Saturday night after much anticipation around the world. Being that they're both new parents, they could likely use some advice, which is why traveled country mom Jo Dee Messina reached out to offer some via Twitter on Sunday.

"Congratulations Beyonce !!! Just read she had a baby girl," Messina tweeted. "Advice ? Sleep when the baby sleeps. Best wishes and many laughs."

Messina has an almost 3-year-old son, Noah Roger, but the sound advice she gave Beyonce will be useful to the 'I'm Alright' hitmaker herself later this year. In October, Messina announced -- also on Twitter -- that she and her husband are expecting a second baby, due later this year.
