Blake Shelton Gets Dark and Moody in ‘Every Time I Hear That Song’ Video [Watch]
Blake Shelton is both nostalgic and smoldering in the video for his latest single, "Every Time I Hear That Song."
The country superstar and host on TV's The Voice debuted the clip exclusively via Vevo on Tuesday (Feb. 7), sharing the news in a post to Facebook and writing, "Well check this out!"
The clip centers on Shelton in a dark warehouse, reminiscing over an old love as he reflects on how hearing a certain song makes him think about her to this day. The video reflects those thoughts in a sexy way visually, featuring Shelton singing the anguished lyrics through sheets of falling water to his old flame as if that was all that separated them. Throughout the clip she beckons him in a teasing way as he seems to follow her in an attempt to recapture what they once had, which of course is destined to fail, leaving the viewer to wonder if she's really there or merely an old memory embodied visually in the clip.

"Every Time I Hear That Song" is the fifth single from Shelton's current album, If I'm Honest, which also features the hits "Came Here to Forget," "She's Got a Way With Words" and "A Guy With a Girl." Aimee Mayo, Chris Lindsey and Brad and Brett Warren collaborated on the track.
Shelton recently announced plans to open two new bar and entertainment venues called Ole Red, with locations in Nashville and his hometown of Tishomingo, Okla. The country singer is also embarking on his Doing it to Country Songs Tour in 2017, featuring his former The Voice Team Blake contestants Sundance Head and RaeLynn as his support acts. The tour kicks off Feb. 16 and runs through March 17.
