Brad Paisley Brings the Laughs in Trailer for Netflix Comedy Special [Watch]
Brad Paisley is a master singer-songwriter and guitarist, but he's also got a killer sense of humor, and he gets to display it full force in his new Netflix comedy special, Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo.
A trailer for the special released on Aug. 3 shows clips from the show, which was filmed during Paisley's two-show stay at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville on April 18 as part of the 2017 Wild West Comedy Festival. "I am thrilled to be in my hometown...where are we?" Paisley jokes in the trailer before comedians Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana and Mike E. Winfield all take the stage to crack jokes of their own about marriage, babies and more.
We even get to see a little music, as Paisley brings his guitar on stage and sings a piece of "Letter to Me" with Bargatze. The hour-long feature also includes appearances by David Hasselhoff, who helped the singer make the announcement for the special via Facebook video to fans in June, and fellow country superstar Reba McEntire. Hasselhoff and Paisley have collaborated before in the video for “Last Time for Everything," which is the second single off Paisley's 2017 experimental album, Love and War.
The album gave the country star his ninth consecutive No. 1 project, which includes other collaborations with Timbaland, John Fogerty and Mick Jagger. Paisley is currently on his 2017 Weekend Warriors World Tour in support of the album that continues through September with Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell all serving as support acts.
Brad Paisley's Comedy Rodeo airs on Netflix on Aug. 15.
