Brantley Gilbert has announced that his next album will hit stores and digital retailers in January, titled The Devil Don't Sleep. During a Facebook live chat with fans the "The Weekend" singer shared details of his fourth studio album and a tour.

During a short chat, Gilbert revealed The Devil Don't Sleep album will be released on Jan. 13, with pre-sales beginning Oct. 12. It's not clear when tour dates will begin, as Gilbert's audio was silent for most of his Facebook Live session. However, Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs will join him with songwriter Brian Davis on many dates.

The Devil Don't Sleep is Gilbert's fourth studio album, and his first since Just As I Am in May 2014. That album touched on the build up and breakup with his girlfriend Jana Kramer. Since then he's gotten married, although "The Weekend" is hardly a song about a domesticated man. It's another country-rocker in the spirit of "Bottoms Up," a style that shows off his bad boy side.

On tour last summer Gilbert introduced fans to another rocker called "Dirty." His music has been an edgy mix of hard rock songs and tender ballads. He's always been outspoken on and off stage, and his albums always reflect what is going on in his life. It's likely he'll stay true to his method of writing and recording. He has always written every song on his albums.
