Brett Young's baby girl has arrived. The singer's wife Taylor Mills gave birth to Presley Elizabeth Young on Monday, Oct. 21. She is the couple's first child after less than one year of marriage.

The "Catch" singer shared the news with People adding that the 8-pound, 2-ounce baby was born at 7:29PM in Nashville and measures 20.75 inches. "She is perfect and we are forever better because she was given to us," Young tells the magazine.

Talking to Taste of Country Nights earlier this fall Young revealed he had a song written for his newborn daughter and he planned on letting fans hear it soon. The 38-year-old made it clear that he and his wife wanted to start a family immediately upon getting married and if he's to be believed they'll try for more soon. “We are really excited about having kids sometime soon,” the 2017 Taste of Country RISER told us. "We aren’t putting pressure on ourselves, but we are definitely ready for it to happen.”

Young and Mills announced they were pregnant in April and revealed they were having a girl a few weeks later. “We have always shared the same heart for wanting a family,” he told People this spring. “I love knowing that we get to give this little one an amazing life, and I just can’t wait for the future ahead of us as a family. We are so blessed!”

Previously Mills had told the magazine that she believed her husband would be a great father and if enthusiasm translates into dad-skills, he'll be a rockstar. The "Catch" singer eagerly went after the diaper challenge while visiting with the radio show. Watch the above video at 13:18 to see how quickly he can change a diaper and to see the one critical error he makes.

"Like I said, when my mom used to work in the nursery ... I helped," he shares. "It's been a long time though."

Young also added that growing up with sisters will help prepare him for fatherhood. The couple say both mom and baby NAME are doing very well after the birth.
