Brooks and Dunn, Reba McEntire Announce Las Vegas Residency
Next summer, Brooks and Dunn will reunite with one of their most famous collaborators. Reba McEntire has teamed up with the legendary country duo for a residency at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace.
The shows will be the first Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have played together since their 2010 retirement as a duo. Both have since released solo albums.
McEntire joins the duo for all 12 announced dates at the Colosseum. The first three fall between June 24-27, 2015. Additional shows are scheduled for the weeks of July 1, December 2 and December 9.
Tickets for select performances go on sale on Thursday (Dec. 4) through the Colosseum’s website or by calling 866-320-9763. The prices will range from $59.50 to $205, plus additional charges and fees.
Dunn had been hinting at something big with McEntire and Brooks in recent weeks on his Facebook page, where he's very active. The legendary female vocalist was the first to sign with Nash Icon Music, and Dunn says he’s done the same.
“Talking to Kix,” Dunn wrote on Facebook late last month. “He’s talkin’ back."
This is especially significant because since Brooks & Dunn split, the relationship has seemed strained. A year ago, the two debated the reasons the duo split over social media. Neither had publicly expressed interest in a reunion.
Brooks & Dunn teamed with McEntire for two singles, the chart-topping ‘If You See Him / If You See Her’ from 1998 and the Gold-selling ‘Cowgirls Don’t Cry’ from the duo’s final studio album ‘Cowboy Town.’
An official Reba and Brooks & Dunn website has also been set up to keep fans informed.
