Carly Pearce's upcoming sophomore album will feature a duet with none other than Lee Brice! The new collaboration is due out at the end of September.

Pearce and Brice aren't the only country stars involved in the new release, "I Hope You're Happy Now," Luke Combs also contributed to the project. Combs co-wrote the song alongside Pearce, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana. Brice reported that Combs even sang on the song's demo. Famed producer Busbee produced the song.

“I am so excited to share such a personal part of my story with one of the best male vocalists in our format," Pearce shared in a press release. "Lee has the kind of gruff yet vulnerable quality to his sound that I envisioned for this duet, and am grateful he agreed to join me.This song is raw and real, truly something I think many people around the world will relate to.”

Brice told The Boot that he recorded his portion of the collaboration while touring due to his busy schedule this past summer. Brice revealed that the song is "kind of a twist on" sarcastically wishing a former ex-beau well.

"It's kind of got a little bit of a throwback to '90s country—like, it's a country song. It sounds great," he expressed. "It has a little hipper mix than, say, a '90s mix—but it's a county song, and I really love that about it. It's got this purity to it, and the message is just a pure country song message."

Though there aren't many details available yet about Pearce's new album, "I Hope You're Happy Now" will be released on Sept. 27. "Closer To You" acted as the lead single off of the yet-to-be titled project. Brice is also working on new music and said that his new single will release in early next year.

Meanwhile, Pearce is also brewing something big, namely her upcoming wedding to fellow singer Michael Ray. The happy couple recently showed off their marriage license on social media, suggesting that the main event is just around the corner.
