Carrie Underwood reassures her mother that her about-to-be-married baby girl is in good hands on a special new live version of her hit 'Mama's Song.' The original version of the song can be found on the singer's 2009 album 'Play On.'

It's impressive how closely Underwood and her band come to the sound of the original studio recording on this intimate live version of the textured, string-laden 'Mama's Song.' The backing vocalists are slightly less pronounced, the drums have a bit more crackle, and Underwood's voice is impressively front and center.

She spends the entire song tenderly and confidently telling her mother that today's walk down the aisle isn't goodbye, and looks forward hopefully to a future where she'll hear the same sentiment from her own child:

"And he is good so good /He treats your little girl like a real man should /He is good so good / He makes promises he keeps / No he's never gonna leave /So don't you worry about me /Don't you worry about me."

Underwood recently completed a headlining tour in support of 'Play On,' performing 108 shows to over one million fans, making her the year's most popular female country touring artist for the second time in three years.
