Go Behind the Scenes of Chris Young and Lauren Alaina’s ‘Town Ain’t Big Enough’ Recording Session
Chris Young and Lauren Alaina are letting fans peek into the studio with their new "Town Ain't Big Enough" music video. The black-and-white clip shows the two country stars recording their new duet.
Aside from a few shots of Young and Alaina getting a little goofy while taking an in-studio selfie, and some footage of Young in the control room, the "Town Ain't Big Enough" video is super straightforward: Young and Alaina each stand behind their mics in the studio, recording their parts of the track. Still, the video is a neat look behind the scenes into the making of the song.
Young and Alaina released "Town Ain't Big Enough" in early July, after debuting the song during a CMA Fest 2019 set at Nashville's Ole Red in early June. The song, which will appear on Young's upcoming studio album, Raised on Country, was co-written by Young, Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, who also contributes background vocals.
Country Music's Sexiest Male Voices ... Ever:
Raised on Country will be Young's eighth studio album. Complete details about the project have yet to be revealed, but Young has revealed that a collaboration with Kane Brown will also be on the record.
Young is currently headlining his Raised on Country Tour, named after his single of the same name. Chris Janson, Jimmie Allen, LoCash, Carlton Anderson and Dylan Scott are acting as his opening acts on a rotating basis. Alaina, meanwhile, will begin her headlining That Girl Was Me Tour on Sept. 14 in Columbia, Mo.
