14 Things You Won’t See on the 2019 ‘CMA Fest’ TV Special
On Sunday night (Aug. 4), country music fans will get to see three hours worth of highlights from June's CMA Fest on the CMA Fest: The Music Event of Summer TV special. But because CMA Fest is a jam-packed four-day festival, there are plenty of moments from the event that viewers won't get to see.
Most of the CMA Fest TV special's content was filmed during the festival's Nissan Stadium shows. Those concerts close out each night of the event, but during the days, hundreds of artists and thousands of fans packed downtown Nashville for hours of live music on multiple stages. And then there are the non-performance events: fan club parties, autograph signings, Q&A sessions and so much more. You'd have to clone yourself to take in even half of what CMA Fest has to offer each year.
CMA Fest: The Music Event of Summer airs on ABC on Aug. 4 at 8PM ET. But to get a peek at some of what won't be on the broadcast, read on.
