Dan + Shay are celebrating a new milestone in their growing success. The country duo's debut single, '19 You + Me,' has been certified gold for sales in excess of 500,000 units.

They received their plaque commemorating the achievement on Wednesday night (Oct. 15) in Nashville, just prior to their sold-out performance at the Cannery Ballroom. Todd Ramey and Jason Owen of Sandbox Entertainment joined Scott Hendricks and John Esposito from Warner Music Nashville for the presentation.

Dan + Shay have actually moved more than 720,000 units of the single, and combined with the sales of their follow-up, 'Show You Off,' their total song sales are nearing one million units. Released in April, the duo's album 'Where It All Began' marked the first time in SoundScan history that a country duo debuted in the top spot of Billboard's Hot Country Albums chart with their first album.

The duo recently wrapped up a stint on the road with Blake Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier Tour and kicked off their own headlining Where It All Began Tour in early October. They are nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at the upcoming 2014 CMA Awards, and will also take part on the all-star 'CMA Country Christmas' special this year.
