Few have wondered what happens if you slow down Dolly Parton's hit song 'Jolene,' but the result turns out to be quite captivating. The singer's signature song becomes a broody folk ballad when spun on a turn table at 33RPM.
Tracy Chapman, Jack White, Roy Orbison and Kenny Rogers in drag are a few artists YouTube commenters have compared this "new" version of the song to. At least one thought it was Cher, and quite a few like this version better than the 1973 oft-covered classic. Watch the video above and decide for yourself.
