Florida Georgia Line Debut ‘Dirt’ at the Grand Ole Opry [Exclusive Premiere]
Florida Georgia Line brought "Dirt" to the Grand Ole Opry for the first time earlier this year, and the moment was one you had to be there to witness. Fortunately, even if you weren't in the crowd, you can take it in during this Taste of Country exclusive premiere.
"Dirt" was released to radio nearly a year ago, but it took 10 months for Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard to get their chance to sing it at the Opry. One gets the sense that this night meant more than any of the other accolades the song has earned the duo.
“I think since the first time we heard this song," Hubbard says, "I think we’ve been waiting for this moment right here to play this song on this stage, in front of these fans.”
The two work the crowd through the standard version of the hit before slowing down for one final chorus. The audience needed little urging to sing along, and crowd shots prove the duo had plenty of supporters on this night.
"Dirt" is the first single from FGL's Anything Goes album. The band will continue the Anything Goes tour this month. Their string of summer dates with Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard made Taste of Country's Hot Summer Tours of 2015 list as the No. 1 tour to see.
