Florida Georgia Line to Sing ‘H.O.L.Y’ With John Legend at Billboard Music Awards
Florida Georgia Line will team up with John Legend for a joint performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.
The superstar country duo announced the news online on Friday (May 12), posting, "Can’t wait to perform H.O.L.Y. with @johnlegend at the @BBMAs! This is going to be epic! Tune in May 21st at 8/7c on ABC. #BBMAs."
FGL are the most-nominated country artist in the 2017 BBMAs. Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard earned nominations for Top/Duo Group, Top Country Artist, Top Country Album and more. They first announced they would perform at the ceremony on May 1, but did not share details of their performance at that time.
Sam Hunt is also set to appear at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, where he will perform his most recent No. 1 hit, "Body Like a Back Road," joining mainstream acts including Celine Dion, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Lorde on the all-star lineup.
Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are among the other country stars nominated at the annual awards. Luke Bryan is the only country star nominated for the Billboard Chart Achievement Award.
Florida Georgia Line are set to hit the road on their 2017 Smooth Tour over the summer, which sees Chris Lane, Ryan Hurd, "Yours" singer Russell Dickerson and Morgan Wallen opening for the duo, with Nelly on the bill. The Backstreet Boys will join the tour for select stadium dates. That tour kicks off June 2 in Austin, Texas, and runs through Oct. 21, when it wraps in Georgia.
