Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard Demonstrates How Exhausting a New Baby Is
In case you ever wondered (or forgot) how tiring it is to have a newborn in the house, Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard has the proof right at hand. The Hubbards very recently announced the birth of their second child, and as all parents know, a new baby is quite draining.
Apparently Hayley Hubbard needed Tyler's help with the kids on Tuesday morning (Aug. 20), but was unable to rouse her husband. In (ingenious) desperation, she dangled a piece of bacon by his nose—which doubtlessly smelled delicious—but not even that succulent aroma could rouse the sleeping daddy. In the video Hayley recorded (and Tyler shared on Instagram), Dad is sacked out too hard to notice even the most delightful sensual temptation.
"Hayley had been trying to wake me up for 20 minutes to help her out and If at 10am a piece of bacon won’t do it then nothing will. This was the third and final attempt. Haha," Hubbard sheepishly noted.
The Hubbards, who are already parents to daughter Olivia Rose, welcomed Luca on Monday (Aug. 19) in Nashville at around 3:40AM. He weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz., and measured 20.5 inches long at birth, and the proud father and husband turned to social media afterward to express his joy at the occasion.
"Words can’t describe the overwhelming emotions that I experienced last night as we witnessed the miracle of life," Hubbard wrote. "I didn’t think life could get any better but it just did." (And then, he fell asleep...okay, sorry for kidding around, Tyler, we get it!)
