'Footloose' opens up in select cities this weekend, and Thursday night was the Nashville premiere. A host of country talented associated with the film turned out, but so did artists like Trace Adkins who came just to support his good buddy Blake Shelton.

Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald star in the remake of the famous 1984 Kevin Bacon movie. Shelton, Hunter Hayes and Big and Rich are just a few of the artists who cut songs for the soundtrack. All three were on hand to walk media row and take in the film. Early reviews of the film have been positive, with one reviewer praising Shelton's cover of the classic Kenny Loggins title track.

'Footloose' opens nationwide on Oct. 14.
