While Taylor Swift might be tempted to talk about One Direction's Harry Styles through her songwriting, the British boyband singer claims that he doesn't have a bad word to say about Swift.

In fact, when Styles chatted with reporters recently, he only referred to Swift as "a sweet girl." There have been rumors that Styles and Swift have some bad blood between them, and they will most likely have a run-in at the Brit Awards this week.

Running into your ex is never fun, but Styles doesn't seem to be worried.

It's no secret that Swift typically writes songs about her real-life relationships, but she usually doesn't flat-out admit who every tune is about. After all, we've all been trying to figure out who 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' is about since the song was released as the first single from 'Red' last fall.

We might have gotten at hint at the Grammys, though. Maybe. If you listened carefully to the award-winning songstress' Alice in Wonderland-themed performance, you probably noticed that she put on a mock British accent at one point during the show. Plenty of critics seem to think that she was making a direct dig at Styles.

However, he seems to be shaking it off. "Oh it’s fine. She’s a great performer and she’s always good on the stage … she’s done it for a long time,” Styles says in an interview with FHM Capital. “She knows what she’s doing on stage. It was just another good Taylor Swift performance. It was good."

“I'm not worried about seeing her at all," he continues. "She's a sweet girl, you know, I don't have a bad word to say about her."

Hopefully Swift/Styles run-in goes as well as Styles seems to think it will.
