Country a capella group Home Free have released a music video for their new rendition of the traditional Christmas tune “Do You Hear What I Hear?” featuring the band in an icy, colorful wonderland. Their signature harmonies shine in the song, bringing a new sound to the haunting melody.

The fivesome traveled north to film the video amid walls of ice and snow, light glittering off the surfaces around them to create a whimsical scene. Though it was understandably freezing, the band says the end product made it worthwhile.

“We were buried in the bitter cold in Minnesota,” band member Austin Brown recalls to the Boot, “but I think it was worth it.”

The song is the perfect addition to your Christmas playlist this season and appears on the band’s Christmas album, Full of Cheer, released in 2014. In addition to their own, Home Free also guests on Kenny Rogers’ Christmas record this season. They recorded a version of “Children, Go Where I Send Thee” with the legend on his album Once Again, It’s Christmas.

“They were so nice to work with musically and exceptionally well-driven. It really speaks volumes for their talent and professionalism,” Rogers said of the guys. “I’m so happy we were able to collaborate on this song.”

Home Free won the a capella competition The Sing-Off in 2013 and have since released a record titled Crazy Life, in addition to the Christmas album. They’ve teamed up with several other iconic artists over the past two years, including the Oak Ridge Boys and Charlie Daniels, performing unique versions of the artists’ tunes “Elvira” and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” respectively.
