Start writing down questions to ask Hunter Hayes when he calls you! You'll want to be prepared if you're the grand prize winner of this week's Taste of Country Hunter Hayes contest. The newcomer's debut album hits stores on October 11, and we're giving away one copy each day this week, plus one grand prize at the end of the contest that includes a copy of the album, an autographed 8x10 picture, a T-shirt and a phone call from the 'Storm Warning' singer.

Sign up below to enter the contest, and then start working on what you'll ask the 20-year-old. Maybe ask what it was like opening up for Hank Williams Jr. at age 5? Or find out if he's bringing his headlining tour to your city this fall? Or shout, "Hunter will you marry me? Please, please, please, please, please!" OK, actually, we don't recommend this last line of questioning.

"I'm super excited about the contest," Hayes tells Taste of Country. "It's always cool to get to talk to the people that have been most supportive and sort of get to know the fans and become friends with them, you know. They're kind enough to let me do what I do for a living, and they're really cool people."

Hayes is somewhat of a musical prodigy, having appeared on TV talk shows at age 11 and written for Rascal Flatts and Montgomery Gentry since moving to Nashville two years ago. He wrote each song on his self-titled debut album, and he also played every instrument heard on the album's 12 songs. Be sure to pick up a copy of the album on October 11, and keep up with all the latest about Hunter Hayes on his official website.
