Hunter Hayes' latest single, 'Wanted,' has obviously been, well, "wanted" by many. It has just been certified gold for digital download sales exceeding 500,000 copies, marking the first gold-selling single in the 20-year-old's career.

'“Wanted' is Hayes' second single from his self-titled debut album, released last year on Atlantic Records. The album's first release, 'Storm Warning,' is nearing gold certification as well, and became the newcomer's first Top 15 hit earlier this year. 'Wanted' is following in the footsteps of 'Storm Warning' on the country singles chart, as it is currently climbing within the Top 20.

As expected, Hunter Hayes' summer is on pace to being his best one yet. In addition to the successful hits at radio and on the charts, the young singer will be Carrie Underwood's opening act on her upcoming Blown Away Tour, which kicks off in September and runs through the end of December. Look for Hayes to perform his newly gold-certified hit 'Wanted' on CBS' 'The Talk' on Tuesday, July 24 at 2PM ET.
