Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr recently broke the news that they are expecting a baby, and the country singer admits that he needs to "relearn" the process now that he'll be a father again for the first time in more than a decade.

Aldean is a father to two girls from his previous marriage, 14-year-old Keely and 9-year-old Kendyl. This will be Kerr's first child. During an interview with radio station 95.5 Mason in Chicago, the hosts surprised the superstar with a mini baby shower where they gave him everything from a congratulatory balloon to a pack of diapers. While opening his gifts, Aldean offered some insight into how his wife is doing.

"We're far enough along where we felt comfortable to announce it," he says about sharing the news. He also says that Kerr is "all over that stuff" when it comes to decorating the nursery. "It's been a while," Aldean admits about going through the stages of having a baby. "I gotta relearn how to do all this stuff." Thankfully, Kerr has not been suffering from morning sickness or nausea; however, her husband does reveal that she's been "really tired" and sleeping a lot during the pregnancy.

The couple made the exciting announcement on Instagram on May 8, wearing matching "Baby Mama" and "Baby Daddy" T-shirts, with Kerr perched on the kitchen counter and Aldean sitting on the floor as the oven door lays open to show a bun inside. "Been hard to keep this secret but we couldn't be happier to add to our family. This year just gets better and better," Aldean captioned the cute photo. No due date or information about the sex has been released at this time.
