Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, are digging their family roots a little bit deeper. Now that they're expecting their second child, the couple have decided to build their dream home on a piece of land in Tennessee.

Brittany turned to Instagram on Wednesday (July 11) to share a photo of a long dirt road leading through a lushly wooded piece of property, writing, "And so our new journey begins... we’ve decided to build our dream home in Tennessee. Looking at the land it’s hard not to envision a place where our babies will run, laugh and play with each other for so many years to come... I can hardly wait to hear those little feet running down the halls."

The news comes just one day after the Aldeans announced they are expecting another baby. They also announced that joyous news via Instagram, posting a photo of their 7-month-old son, Memphis, wearing a shirt that says "Big Brother."

The couple just welcomed Memphis on Dec. 1, 2017, but they made no secret of the fact that they intended to have another child as soon as possible afterward.

"Our theory is, 'Hey, we got one in diapers and formula right now so, while we're in this mindset we might as well knock it out,'" Aldean told Taste of Country Nights. "We both agreed that we wanted to have two. I have two older daughters and there's a pretty big age difference in my two older daughters and Memphis, so we wanted to have one who's a little closer in age to him so he has somebody to hang out with."

In a recent episode of the PBS show Breaking Big, Aldean showed the host around the couple's current home in Tennessee. It's unclear if they plan to keep that residence and build a new one on the same land, or if the family will be moving. Aldean previously owned a massive 4,000-square-foot rural estate on 1,400 acres southwest of Nashville, which he listed for sale for $4.6 million in 2017. See pictures of that rustic palace below.
