Jason Aldean’s Son Is Unimpressed With Super Bowl LIII
By the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LIII, the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots were tied at a rather slow-moving 3 to 3—not exactly the most riveting three hours of football in history.
Jason Aldean's 1-year-old son, Memphis seemed to share this sentiment, giving a casual shrug while sitting in his high chair eating some dinner.
"So....who ya got in the Super Bowl?" Aldean captioned the shot, which he shared at the particularly dragging period of the game on social media.
All of Aldean's fans know that the singer is an inveterate sports fan, though, so it's a safe bet that the entire Aldean family was watching the showdown (no word on what bets were made!). As it turns out, the Patriots won the rather lackluster matchup with a final score of 13-3.
The big game, held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, featured a variety of entertainment aside from the, well, big game—starting off with pregame festivities featuring Tim McGraw and Kane Brown. The halftime entertainment was headed up by pop group Maroon 5, featuring appearances from Travis Scott and Big Boi. The National Anthem was handled by soul legend Gladys Knight.
It's been some time since a country artist has headlined the halftime show, but Luke Bryan had the honor of singing the national anthem at the 2017 Super Bow.
