Jason Aldean’s Wife Slaps Down Online ‘Parent Shamers’ Over ‘Ignorant Comments’
Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany are taking a beautiful beach vacation without their baby boy, Memphis — and she doesn't want to hear any lip about it!
Brittany often shares special moments from the couple's personal life with fans, and she has routinely documented milestones and everyday happenings since she gave birth to the couple's son, Memphis, in December. On Friday (March 2) she shared a photo of herself on board an airplane, looking fondly at a picture of Memphis.
"Haven’t even left Nashville and I miss him so much it hurts," she wrote.
Later that night she shared another picture of herself with Aldean, with him dressed casually instead of in his trademark cowboy hat and jeans. While most of her social media followers praised how happy the couple look together and were supportive of the idea of some alone time, a few comments appeared to take them to task for being away from their son so soon.
When she turned to Instagram on Saturday (March 3) to share a picture of the couple on the beach, Brittany included a few pointed words for those who might be tempted to share unwanted parenting advice.
"Much needed vacay," she writes. "Just a word of wisdom for all the parent shamers... vacations are ok for new parents to take. Sometimes after being pregnant for almost a year, cooped up in a house for weeks at a time, you need a little sunshine and adult time. IT IS NOT OK to leave your ignorant comments. If you don’t agree with something, PLEASE... do me a favor and unfollow me. You will NOT be missed ... And for all the sweet, positive, happy people... we love you and thank you!!"
Just for good measure, she added another beach shot of the couple hanging out with some friends, touching off another round of comments about how good she looks in a swimsuit just months after giving birth.
So take that, haters!
Aldean recently released a new song, "You Make It Easy." It's the first single from his upcoming eighth studio album, Rearview Town, which is set for release on April 13. Aldean will hit the road in 2018 on his High Noon Neon Tour, which is set to launch on May 10 and run through Sept. 29. Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina will join Aldean on tour as support acts.
